Web Desk (LTN NEWS): PM Shehbaz Sharif praised the professionalism of former Finance Minister Dr. Miftah Ismail, saying that he kept the country from going bankrupt when the economy was in bad shape.
PM Shehbaz said that Miftah Ismail had the hardest job when it came to dealing with the economy and the International Monetary Fund program.

In a tweet, he said, “He took on one of the hardest jobs at the worst time for the economy. He led the effort to keep Pakistan from going bankrupt and successfully negotiated the IMF program.”
PM Shehbaz praised Miftah Ismail’s work as finance minister when things were tough.
“I have the utmost respect for how he served the country with professionalism and dedication during these hard times,” he said.
